Lindsay Jow

Art and creativity have always been a part of my life. Like so many of us, I was passed down a love of making things from my family members. There were and are quilters, musicians, carvers, knitters, embroiderers, decorators, domestic curators, and a passion for the hunt of the perfect knick knack in a small town antique store.

I also have a background in advertising and marketing, which has shaped my painting practice in significantly. I like to paint the everyday consumer objects that shape our culture and become part of our memories. Think things like lollipops, your favorite canned beverage, the netting for a bag of cuties.
