Call for Art

Monochrome Group Exhibition

We’re now accepting submissions for our upcoming exhibition at RTown Gallery. If you’d like to be considered for this show, please complete the form below and upload images that meet the listed requirements. Be sure to follow the artwork specifications and formatting guidelines so your work can be reviewed for inclusion in this exhibition.

RTown Gallery announces a call for entry for Monochrome, a juried show exploring the power and possibility of working in a single color.

Located in the heart of the Dallas–Fort Worth metroplex, RTown Gallery is proud to present a dynamic mix of artists who embrace monochrome as both constraint and freedom. Subjects are open; what unites the show is a commitment to a single hue, value range, or tonal palette, however the artist chooses to interpret it.

Monochrome strips away the noise of color and asks viewers to look closer: at texture, line, contrast, and form. We invite artists from all locations and disciplines to submit work that takes this constraint seriously, whether through stark black and white, a saturated red, a quiet grayscale, or any single color carried through with intention. Subject matter is entirely up to you; portraiture, landscape, abstraction, still life, narrative, or anything else your practice calls for.

Exhibition Dates: September
Opening Reception: September 5th, 7-9pm

Juror Information: [Closed Jury]
